Hey guys!
As it is, I promised you guys something I couldn’t deliver: constant help with your weight loss through this blog. I’m taking 5 classes at university, and between all the pre-making meals, and exercise, and homework - I find myself totally unable to find the time to keep this up!
I will say this, don’t lose hope - please keep working towards your goals, because I’ve lost 20 pounds since the last time I talked to you all. Can you believe it!?
How did I lose this weight? Honestly it is thanks to this app:
http://www.loseit.com/
You can download it by typing “lose it” into the app store on your iphones/ ipads/ etc. It is amazing - it helps you keep track on your personalized plan, and tracks your progress for you.
I suppose I’m just here to make sure you’re all still working hard to lose weight, and to ask this: If you have progress pictures, submit them to me!
That is all, happy racing!

healthyshenanigans asked: thank you for answering my question publicly! No need to be so down on yourself or scared of people judging you. In the end all that matters is what you think about yourself
Its true, and it’s a hard road to that ‘self acceptance’ that we all strive for, but that’s what blogs like this are for: a supportive community.
And a note to my followers, I hope you’re all doing your best through the holidays - I will begin with a heavy regime in the new year, and hopefully post everything I can to help you all!
healthyshenanigans asked: First, let me say this is not meant to be a hate post. But I've read all of your blog trying to find out what your SW is and obviously didn't find it. You keep saying you're self conscious about it yet you're hosting a contest to have people share their goal weight yet you won't do so yourself? That's the definition of being hypocritical. My SW was 223 and right now I'm at 202. You really shouldn't be scared to post your SW. Well all still support you no matter what
I understand how that must look, but the honest reason isn’t because of self consciousness, but because it’s not how I judge my progress. My progress is based on how my clothes fit and what I look like. Being too caught up in my number hinders me. That being said, most people need to take a good hard look at their number to give them the kick in the pants they need. My original intention was to wait until further weight loss to post progress pictures of myself, not numbers. However, as you’re not the first one to ask, my SW was 190. I’m no longer at that weight, I’m about 20 pounds less (though it may be more, because that’s not my judgement). I do promise to stick to the contest rules however, that state I must be at my personal goal by march 1st to win.
